The Solution: 100mm External Wall Insulation with a Silicone Render Finish
We installed 100mm of external wall insulation and finished it with a silicone render system, giving the home a warmer, weatherproof and low-maintenance exterior in one job. Insulating the outside of the walls helps reduce heat loss and can lower heating costs; because the insulation is fitted externally, the rooms stay the same size, and most of the work happens outside, so the homeowner can stay in the home while it is done.
The reinforced base coat and alkali-resistant mesh protect the insulation and help the finished render resist cracking, while the silicone finish sheds rain and dirt.
